Elisa Binci

Elisa Binci is an Associate at Alter – Vanderstappen – Robert, where she primarily focuses on corporate disputes, restructuring, and insolvency matters.

Her practice includes shareholder disputes, directors’ liability, and insolvency proceedings, in which she advises both debtors and creditors in judicial reorganisation proceedings (PRJ), bankruptcies, and liquidations. She also has experience in security interests, including pledges, guarantees, and related arrangements.

Elisa also specialises in sanctions law and advises companies and individuals on matters relating to the unfreezing of assets located in Belgium.

Before joining AVR, Elisa worked at the renowned Belgian law firm Liedekerke, where she gained experience in insolvency and corporate litigation.

She is known for being highly responsive and readily accessible to clients, combining a pragmatic approach with hands-on involvement in each matter.

Elisa graduated from the University of Liège with magna cum laude and was a finalist in the European Law Moot Court Competition 2020 – 2021 edition. She then completed an LLM in Public International Law at the University of Amsterdam, where she specialised in International Trade Law and International Environmental Law, and participated in the Jessup Moot Court, winning the national rounds with her team.

She speaks French, English, and Italian, and has intermediate proficiency in Dutch.
